This team keeps the pastor and staff advised about the conditions within the congregation and interprets to the congregation the ministry of the professional leaders.   This team strengthens and supports the pastor as well as the congregation.  The team provides open communication, a “listening post” for the pastor, conflict resolution, appraisal of the ministry of the pastor, a sounding board for the pastor in time of personal or professional stress; identifying continuing education that would assist the pastor, and concerns for the spiritual, emotional, and physical needs of the pastor.
